Hi. I'm Glenn Hawkins, pastor of Grace United Family Church. I received Christ as my Lord and Savior in 1976 and life has never been the same. I'm continually amazed by his grace and mercy toward me!

I graduated from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary in Lynchburg and spent over a decade as an active duty Air Force Chaplain, and the Lord gave my family and me incredible opportunities to serve him around the world.

I am delighted to call Mechanicsville my home and Grace United my church family. I consider myself privileged to live life "alongside" my Christian brothers and sisters helping them to become more like Jesus. I have a deep concern to be involved in the lives of Christians in areas of the world where the Christian faith is not so welcome, convinced that the Lord has given me a commitment to world missions through my service to the Lord in the Chaplaincy.

My best friend in this life is my bride of 42 years, Kitty. The Lord has greatly blessed us with 4 adult children and 14 grandchildren -- a great delight of our hearts!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family, reading good books, and trying my hand at woodworking and accomplishing projects around the house.
