What to Expect as a First Time Guest
We've all been there. Meeting new people can be uncomfortable. And first-time experiences often seem foreign. So, we want to let you know what you are getting yourself into the first time you visit.
  • A smile and a handshake (or hug!) from just about everybody--unless you need to keep your distance due to COVID-19--we respect that. But we delight to see new faces and get to know new people!
  • Casual clothing. But there are those who don't feel right unless they "dress up". Totally your call. Masks are an option but not mandatory.
  • A family-integrated ministry, where everybody worships together. We have found over the years how valuable this approach is for the older and younger. Should your little one (or ones!) (pre-school age or younger) become(s) too fidgety, we have plenty of trained hands and loving hearts, counting it a privilege to serve you and your children in the nursery.
  • Music which seeks to honor the Lord and lead His people to worship Him. Sometimes we sing without instruments, finding that the greatest instrument is the voice our Creator gave us. We sing a variety of music, from great hymns of the faith, up to the most contemporary songs, all sung with the purpose to turn our hearts and eyes toward the One we have come to worship.
  • A time of "open worship", where we have the opportunity to address one another with Scripture or a brief, personal "victory story". We also make it a habit to literally "lay hands" on people who need prayer, seeking the Lord together as a body of believers.
  • We make it a point to remember our fellow Christians around the world who are persecuted for their faith.
  • Our conviction is that the Bible is the word of the living God; we seek to learn and apply it, that the Lord might be glorified and God's people might be built up in the faith.
  • We are very imperfect people, seeking to honor the Savior of the world and the Lord of the earth.
